MYSCAL... What an odd name....Read on...

I believe I have been attracted to shiny things ever since childhood. I was always taking things and turning them into some kind of jewelry creation. Family had to beware if they left some costume jewelry lying around because they would get it back redesigned or altered. I loved doing it! It was a passion that as an adult I never pursued.

About 5 years ago, I had an experience that changed my life dramatically. I had a stroke that by all means should have killed me. After long hours of rehab and gritty determination, I realized that although my life was happy and successful, I had never followed through on some goals that brought me joy.

I was determined to set my sights on those goals. I went back to school and started jewelry classes. Those classes started me on my way to here and now! It started out as a hobby, that progressed to a passion, that morphed in to a business. I truly get joy out of all the aspects of jewelry making. I work with so many people that give me new ideas, instructions and goals to make my creations better and better.

My life is better now. Joy is returning.

My business name a bit strange perhaps? It stands for a new outlook and approach to life since my stroke.

It stands for MY Second Chance At Life. MYSCAL

A second chance is a very good thing to have. I'm not wasting mine.
